FAQs
What style sessions do you offer?
Individual therapy (45 minutes)
Family/couples therapy (45 - 50 minutes)
What type of therapy do you practice?
I use a blend of mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered approaches. My treatment is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
I am formally trained in ACT and CBT approaches.
Where are you located?
I offer in-person sessions at the Mindful Mental Health Counseling office in Bryant Park and virtual sessions through our secure online portal.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. While I do not directly accept insurance, I can provide documentation (a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. To find out what coverage you may receive, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider and ask if they cover out-of-network therapy services.
How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
Great question! I understand how challenging it can be to find a therapist who feels like the right fit — not all therapists and clients are meant to be. I always encourage clients to use the consultation call to ask any questions they have and to be honest with themselves when selecting a new therapist.
